SUMMARY:Winter 2023 Mid-America Conference of Clubs Quarterly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The story of the Mid America Conference (MAC ) begins in April\, 1969\, with the creation of what is now known as the Atlantic Motorcycle Coordinating Council\, the first multistate organization of this kind east of the Mississippi. According to the club news highlights for 1969 published in the last issue of WHEELS\, the magazine of Cycle M.C.\, the founding clubs of the AMCC were 2nd City of Chicago\, the Vikings of Boston\, SMCLA and the Spartans of Washington\, D.C. Its insignia was designed by Roger Torkelson of Second City\, and the summer run hosted by Second City M.C. of Chicago in Michigan in July\, 1969 was its first ” official ” run. In the same month\, Empire City M.C.\, the Rocky Mountaineers of Denver and S.N.C. joined the AMCC. In February\, 1970\, the AMCC changed its name to the Atlantic Midwest Coordinating Council and WHEELS was ” designated best vehicle for disseminating Council news.” The importance of this organization is that it provided a model for all later regional conferences such as the MAC. The AMCC met quarterly\, and gradually clubs outside the area began to be aware of its existence. It thus served as the model from which all subsequent organizing of leather/levi clubs in the East\, Midwest and South would be drawn.

Use the link below to purchase tickets:\nhttps://mml2022.bpt.me \nEVENT INFORMATION:\nMr. Missouri Leather 2022\nSt. Louis\, Missouri\nSeptember 23-25\, 2022\nTropical Liqueurs\, Door opens 9 pm \nMr. Missouri Leather is celebrating its 39th anniversary and will be held the weekend of September 23-25\, 2022. All events will take place at Tropical Liqueurs\, 4104 Manchester Ave.\, St. Louis 63110. Sponsored by Gateway Motorcycle Club from 1983-2013\, this event was one of the longest running annual Leather contests in the country that was sponsored by a single leather club. Terry Laupp\, Mr. Missouri Leather 2010\, and husband Chad Carroll now produce the weekend event. \nMr. Missouri Leather Weekend will kick off Friday night at 9 pm. with the Black and Lou Fetish Ball\, “The Darker Shade of Leather”. This will be an evening of organic fetish\, acrobatic and drag performances. Admission $20 in advance $25 at the door. Leather\, Gear\, and Fantasy wear is strongly encouraged. “Show up late to the Ball and you may be punished”. \nSaturday will start for the contestants at 1 pm. at for their interviews; this part of the competition is not open to the public. \n“Master Kink Klasses” presented by Mr. Missouri Leather Weekend at Tropical Liqueurs and be held from 12:00-4:00 pm. Master Kink Klasses will consist of 3-4 educational seminars and is open to the public. \nThe festivities will continue at 10 pm. with the Mr. Missouri Leather 2022 competition\, at Tropical Liqueurs\, admission $10. The contestants will be judged on Cruise wear\, Physique and Personality\, Formal wear as well as deliver a short speech to the crowd. \nThe newly sashed Mr. Missouri Leather 2022 will receive a sponsorship to IML 2023\, $100\, a title sash and much more. Second place will receive $100\, with Third place receiving $50. \nThe informal Gateway Guy contest has been a feature of Mr. Missouri Leather for decades. New in 2022 will be the Gateway Pet contest. The purpose of these informal contests is to actively involve more people in the event and perhaps to encourage future contestants for Mr. Missouri Leather. \nThe official after-party will be at Rehab Bar and Grill located at 4054 Chouteau Ave. til 3 am. Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test required for entry to the after-party. \nThe weekend will conclude on Sunday morning with the Mr. Missouri Leather Victory Brunch at Tropical Liqueurs. Brunch doors open at 12:30 festivities start at 1 pm\, includes 2 beverages\, an awesome brunch and the Mr. Missouri Leather Victory Brunch Show!
